Questioning the Creator

I've been meaning to ask this for a while, but Eric's post about Jordan's question is prompting me to finally get to it.

Why is it that my boys find any statement to be positively hysterical if it contains the word "bathroom," "underwear," or if it references bodily functions?

Anyone? Is it just my boys? :)

(Okay...off to remove my tongue from my cheek! And a
nyone that says that boys and girls aren't really that different has never raised both)!

I had Tristan and Hayden buckled in the car in the garage today. I ran back inside to get Hayden's blanket since he had been fussing. I got back outside and he was suddenly happy, smiling, even giggling. Tristan proudly told me "I made hayden laugh by saying 'poop'!" So, yes, I think it's in their blood!

I have a little boy-girl because Gigi is the same way. She is so INCREDIBLY fascinated (not in a scientific way, but in a humor way) with toots, burps, and poops. She has to shout them out. She has to tell everyone, and every time she does it, she laughs like crazy. Totally potty humor all the time. She's even learned how to fake burp. I found it a little odd when I had to tell my (at the time) 2 yo girl that it's not polite to fake burp for company. Over and over and over again. Um, yeah.
