The other day I was helping Jacob and Anna learn their Bible verse from Sunday school. Jacob is "old hat" at memory verses, and does really well learning even long phrases, but I wanted him to model the process for Anna. Here's how it went:
Me: Love...
Jacob: Love...
Me: one...
Jacob: one...
Me: another.
Jacob: another.
Me: Anna, your turn! Love...
Anna: 'ove...
Me: one...
Anna: two...
She didn't understand why we all instantly cracked up laughing, but she joined us in the laughter anyway!
