We finally started some seeds last week! At Home Depot last month, the project was planter boxes. Then we headed the our helpful Ace Hardware (this is not a paid advertisement), and we picked out some seeds. Jacob actually just wanted to use some mixed flower seeds that we already had, and Andrew picked out some Scarlet Runner Beans and corn-which I hope he won't be too disappointed with if (read when) we don't get any ears of corn from them. At least I don't have a total lack of faith...if I didn't have any, we wouldn't even be planting seeds when we still have 3+ feet of snow in the yard! I planted some thyme and basil in a windowsill box, and all three of us have plants sprouting right now!
