Our volunteer librarian does a fantastic job with the kids' summer reading program. For the grand finale, we have a picnic, and theme-related craft, and story time. Here, some of us made it to the school playground before the activities began. After the picnic, the kids (all 18 of them!) made "treasure boxes." And they get a new book as a prize, too! Thanks, Deanna, for a great program and great day!
