After our hike, we headed to the zoo! We wanted to make sure we got to the zoo soon, because apparently the elephant isn't healthy and is being shipped off somewhere. So, we wanted Jacob to have the chance to see an elephant "in person," since he was too young to remember the last time we visited the zoo. We had a great time...Andrew liked the polar bears the best, and Jacob like Maggie the Elephant the best-neither of which we got pictures of!

After the zoo, we headed to the house we were staying at. It was great to have a place to stay that didn't have the phone ringing constantly, and where we could relax without feeling like we should be working laundry, cleaning, etc, etc...For whatever reason, one room of the house seemed to be storage for exercise equipment, so here's a pic of the boys riding their "motorcycle."
We enjoyed church that morning; not being responsible for any facet of the service was a welcome respite!
We wrapped up the weekend by getting our Costco shopping done (not exactly relaxing, but necessary, regardless)! All in all, it was great to get away. Anna was a trooper through it all...and all three of the kids were cooperative and enjoyable! Thanks, Eddie, for getting us away from home!
